OVERVIEW

This website is operated by Angelus Veritas, based in Sydney, Australia. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Angelus Veritas.

These terms explain the conditions for using our website and purchasing from our store. Please read them alongside the product information and our Shipping Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, Purchase Options Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy.

Our online store is hosted by Shopify.

SECTION 1 — ONLINE STORE USE

You must use this website lawfully and provide accurate information when making a purchase.

You must be authorised to use the payment method provided. You are responsible for maintaining the security of any account credentials and notifying us if you suspect unauthorised use.

SECTION 2 — PRODUCTS AND AVAILABILITY

Please review the description, measurements, materials, finish and selected options before ordering.

Product images are illustrative. Screen settings may affect how colours appear. Any intentional variations in a product’s finish will be described on its product page.

Products are subject to availability. We may change our collection or discontinue products for future purchases. This does not change our obligations concerning orders already placed.

Nothing in this section limits your right to receive goods that match their description and meet applicable consumer guarantees.

SECTION 3 — PRICES AND PAYMENT

Prices are displayed in USD unless another currency is expressly shown. Shipping and any taxes collected at checkout are displayed before payment.

Prices may change for future purchases. Changes do not alter the price of an existing agreed order.

Your payment provider may apply currency conversion or other account charges under its own terms.

SECTION 4 — ORDERS AND BILLING INFORMATION

You must provide complete and accurate contact, billing and delivery details. Contact us promptly if you discover an error.

We may request reasonable information to verify a payment or investigate suspected fraud.

If payment cannot be authorised, an item is unavailable or a legal restriction prevents fulfilment, we will contact you. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will refund the unfulfilled portion and any associated shipping charges as required by law.

We will not substitute products or increase an agreed order total without your consent.

SECTION 5 — PRE-ORDERS

Pre-order items are identified on their product pages, together with an estimated dispatch timeframe.

Pre-orders may take up to three months from the order date to dispatch. Dispatch time is separate from delivery time.

If the expected dispatch timeframe changes, we will contact you with an update and explain the available options, including any cancellation or refund rights that apply.

Orders containing in-stock and pre-order pieces are fulfilled as described in our Shipping Policy.

SECTION 6 — CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

To request an order change or cancellation, email hello@angelusveritas.com as soon as possible.

We will confirm whether the request can be accommodated based on the order’s progress. Any special restrictions for personalised or individually customised pieces will be disclosed before purchase.

Once an item has been dispatched, our Returns & Refunds Policy applies alongside any statutory cancellation rights.

SECTION 7 — SHIPPING AND IMPORT CHARGES

Our Shipping Policy explains dispatch, delivery, tracking and split shipments.

Please check your delivery details before completing your purchase. Any proposed charge for correcting or redelivering an order will be explained before it is incurred.

For international orders, applicable import duties, taxes and customs clearance fees not collected at checkout are payable by the customer unless expressly stated otherwise before purchase.

If a delivery is delayed, missing or damaged, contact us so we can investigate and arrange an appropriate resolution. Your statutory rights remain unaffected after dispatch.

SECTION 8 — RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Our Returns & Refunds Policy explains our voluntary change-of-mind return conditions, exchanges and how to request assistance with faulty, damaged or incorrect goods.

Conditions applying to voluntary returns do not restrict rights under applicable consumer law.

SECTION 9 — ERRORS AND CORRECTIONS

If you notice an error in a listing or order, please contact us.

We may correct website errors relating to descriptions, prices, availability or shipping information. If a material error affects an order you have placed, we will contact you to explain the issue and discuss a resolution.

Corrections do not give us an unrestricted right to change an existing purchase or remove your legal rights.

SECTION 10 — THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

Our website may provide access to external websites and services, including payment services. Those providers have their own terms and privacy practices, which you should review when using them.

The involvement of a third-party provider does not remove our responsibilities to you as the seller.

SECTION 11 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CUSTOMER CONTENT

Our original branding, photographs, written content and designs are owned by or licensed to Angelus Veritas. Commercial reproduction or use requires permission, except where permitted by law.

If you submit a review or other content for publication, it must reflect your genuine experience and must not infringe another person’s rights or contain unlawful material.

We may moderate submissions for spam, unlawful content or other breaches of these requirements. These terms do not give us unrestricted permission to use private customer correspondence for advertising.

SECTION 12 — PERSONAL INFORMATION

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information and how you can exercise applicable privacy rights.

SECTION 13 — PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You must not use this website to:

• Commit fraud, impersonate another person or submit knowingly false information.

• Upload malicious software or interfere with website security.

• Access accounts or personal information without authorisation.

• Infringe intellectual property rights.

• Threaten, harass or unlawfully harm others.

We may reasonably restrict access where necessary to address these activities. Restricting website access does not remove rights relating to an existing purchase, including any refund due.

SECTION 14 — WEBSITE AVAILABILITY

Website access may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance or technical issues.

If an interruption affects an order or payment, contact us. An interruption does not remove our obligations concerning purchases already made.

SECTION 15 — CONSUMER GUARANTEES AND LIABILITY

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, guarantees, rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights concerning faulty goods, misleading descriptions or failure to supply.

Where mandatory consumer protections in another country apply to your purchase, those protections remain available.

SECTION 16 — SEVERABILITY

If a provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it will not apply to the extent of that invalidity. The remaining provisions continue to apply where they can operate independently and lawfully.

SECTION 17 — APPLICABLE LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.

This section does not require you to give up rights or access to courts or tribunals available under applicable law.

SECTION 18 — CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms by publishing a revised version on this page.

Updates apply prospectively. They do not retrospectively change existing orders or reduce rights relating to purchases already made.
